Ethiopia: Beyond the Body

Most indigenous African religions believe in a tripartite concept of the person: in addition to body and soul, there is said to exist a “spirit” or an ori, an independent entity that mediates or otherwise interacts between the body and the soul.

It can be seen in the eyes, if we dare to hold our eye contact with them.

Testimonial

I placed a couple of your images in cover layout and they are stunningly powerful. I wish I could give you sneak peak, but also want it to be a surprise. I showed our editor Kevin and he was blown away! You nailed this project and I can't thank you enough Joni.
